Fiat from ArchosFans forum managed to break into the mysterious firmware of the 5G Archos. Project was called ArcWelder and is available at this address. That work with Archos 605 & 705. By now, it is not actually userfriendly. it seems to be mostly a simple flaw, which is to be exploited as a base for an alternative firmware for example.
Let’s make it clear, let the next firmware go and keep your own version in a safe place, for it is highly probable that Archos will try to fix this flaw very quickly.
